Obituary for Elaine Peck
KATHRYN ELAINE PECK, 75, of Prophetstown, IL, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, IL, with Rev. Jan Shaulis, pastor of the Fenton United Methodist Church officiating. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown. A memorial to Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown been established.
Elaine was born October 11, 1942, in Avon, IL, to Gerald and Mildred E. (Zuck) Voorhees. She was educated in the Abingdon grade schools in Abingdon, IL, and was a graduate of Abingdon High School. She married Terry E. Peck in Abingdon, IL. Elaine had worked at the Bluebell in Abingdon, then for Penberthy in Prophetstown. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid bowler.
Survivors include her husband, Terry; one daughter, Kelly (Gary) Buck of Prophetstown; two grandchildren, Rachael (Matt) Robinson and Matthew (Melanie Schutz) Buck; four great grandchildren, Charlotte and Bentley Buck, Dylan and Landon Robinson; one brother, Jerry (Lynne) Voorhees of Crystal Lake, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Allen Voorhees.
