Obituary for Alan Vetter
ALAN VETTER, of Rock Island, IL, died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Trinity Hospital, Rock Island, IL. Alan was born April 10, 1953, in Morrison, IL, to Charles F. and Elizabeth (Marshall) Vetter. He was educated in the Hooppole and Annawan, IL Grade Schools and was a 1971 graduate of Annawan High School. He also attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Alan was engaged in farming with his father in the rural Hooppole area. He enjoyed watching TV and listening to the radio. Survivors include his mothe, Elizabeth Vetter-Swanson of East Moline, IL; one sister, Laurie (Greg) Christian of East Moline, IL; one brother, Jeff Vetter of Denver, CO; two nieces, Adrienne Vetter and Valerie Christian; one nephew, Anthony (Stephanie Thomson) Christian; two great-nephews, Cameron and Cayden Christian. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Vetter and one niece, Katherine Vetter.
