Obituary for Allan R. Greeley
ALLAN R. GREELEY, 59, of rural Fulton, IL, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Allan was born August 5, 1951, in Morrison, IL, to Willis J. and Jean F. (Prestley) Greeley. He was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools and was a 1970 graduate of Morrison High School. He married Rhonda J. Habben on June 10, 1978 in Morrison. Allan was employed in the trucking industry until his retirement and was currently employed by Bob Endress Auto Sales and Service in Morrison. He was a member of Morrison Dunlap Lodge #321 AF Kaaba Shrine " Davenport, IA, and the Wheelhorse Patrol. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, morel hunting, cutting wood, working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren, who he considered his "pride and joy". He also greatly enjoyed hosting the annual "Greeley Wild Game Feed". He will be greatly missed by his family. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; two daughters, Melissa Richmond (Brandon Litton) of Haughton, LA and Marla Greeley (Tony Brownlee) of Clinton, IA; two sons, Shawn (Jennifer) Greeley of Morrison, IL and William "Bill" (Amanda Schaver) Greeley of Fulton, IL; ten grandchildren, Dylan, Macaela & Trinity Richmond; Haley, Dalton & Dakota Litton; Cade Hansen; Adrianna, Clayton & Tiffany Greeley; Javon Brownlee; two sisters, Jacqueline Smith (Bill Nystrom) of Coal Valley, IL and Ann Osborn (Brian VanHorn) of Morrison, IL; one brother, Robert (Joyce)_Greeley of Morrison, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, in infancy; one grandchild, Myra Brownlee.
