Obituary for Alvin R. Schipper, Jr.
Alvin R. “Bob” Schipper, Jr., 72, of Sterling, IL died Monday, March 29, 2021 at Stern Square in Sterling, IL.
There will be no funeral service or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton, IL. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial has been established to Self Help Enterprises, Sterling, IL.
Bob was born on August 13, 1948, in Clinton, IA to Alvin R. and Lottie M. (Wosoba) Schipper Sr. He was educated in the Fulton schools. Bob was employed by Self Help Enterprises in Sterling, IL. He was an avid sports fan especially of the Dallas Cowboys. Bob also enjoyed family vacations, camping, water skiing and traveling with his parents.
Survivors include many loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, relatives and special cousins.
