Obituary for Amber Rose Davis

AMBER ROSE DAVIS, 43, of Prophetstown, IL, died Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling, IL.


A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL, with Pastor Chelsey Weech, pastor of First Lutheran Church in Prophetstown, officiating. A memorial has been established to First Lutheran Church.


Amber was born August 20, 1981, in Morrison, IL, to Kenneth and Ellen (Anderson) Pannier. She attended Prophetstown schools and graduated in 1999. Amber furthered her education at Sauk Valley Community College, earning an associate degree in radiography in 2004. She pursued a career as an X-ray technician at the University of Iowa and later worked at Shaw’s Grocery in Prophetstown. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Prophetstown.


Survivors include one son, Charles (Autumn) Davis of California; her parents, Kenneth and Ellen Pannier of McAllen, TX; one sister, Rachael (Scott) Lyman of North Liberty, IA; two brothers, Ken (Karin) Pannier of Vienna, IL and Curtis (Stacey Collis) Pannier of Brisbane, Australia; along with three nieces, two nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.


She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
