Obituary for Arlene Hansen
ARLENE HANSEN, 71, of Erie, IL, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Genesis Medical Center Silvis in Silvis, IL.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, IL, is assisting the family. A memorial has been established by the family.
Arlene was born November 9, 1949, in Caraway, AR, to James and Imogene (Delk) Russell. She attended Clinton High School in Clinton, IA. Arlene married William B. Hansen on August 24, 1974, in Prophetstown, IL. She was employed at Drives in Fulton, IL. She then bartended and waitressed at the Other Place and the Glass Rail in Erie, IL. Arlene enjoyed being online especially Facebook. She liked going to flea markets and yard sales. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Bill; two sons, Scott Jones of Eldridge, IA, and Larry Hansen of Quincy, IL; six grandchildren, Heather (Austin) Minson, Ashley Jones, Isiah Hansen, Noah Hansen, Sarah Grace Hansen, and Emma Marie Hansen; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Hamernan of Omaha, AR and Theresa Faircloth of Circleville, OH; one brother, Timmy Russell of Wetherford, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sharon Hebdon; and one brother, Tony Russell.
