Obituary for Audrey I. Green
AUDREY I. GREEN, 88, of Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, IA, formerly of Prairie Hills of Clinton, IA, and Morrison, IL, died Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Center. Audrey was born February 14, 1926, in Fulton, IL, to Mino and Nellie (Matson) Kamphuis. She was educated in the Clinton, IA, grade schools and was a 1944 graduate of Clinton High School. Audrey married Ralph H. "Bud" Green, Jr. on February 22, 1947, in Clinton, IA. He died October 4, 2006. Audrey worked at the former Rich"s Toy Factory in Clinton, IA, part-time at Vend-o-Mack in Morrison, IL and was a homemaker. Audrey was an avid reader. Survivors include one daughter, Janet (Dale) Linders of Clinton, IA; one son, Ed (Jenny) Green of Clinton, IA; three grandchildren, Richard Green, Andrew Green, and Carly Green; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Johnson of Clinton, IA; one sister-in-law, Lola Kamphuis of Clinton, IA; and one brother-in-law, Earl Eckstein of Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; one son, Richard Green; one daughter-in-law, Laura Green; and one brother, Wesley Kamphuis.
