Obituary for Betty Lou Truckenmiller
BETTY LOU TRUCKENMILLER, 77, of Prophetstown, IL, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL. Betty was born November 27, 1935, in Fulton, IL, to Fred Alfred and Mamie Marie (Moore) Eads. She attended Morrison High School in Morrison, IL, and graduated from the nursing program at Sauk Valley Community College in Sterling, IL. Betty married Loyd D. Crocker on January 5, 1955. She later married Robert A. Truckenmiller on June 18, 1988, in Prophetstown, IL. Betty retired from the Sterling Pavilion in Stering, IL, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a current member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Lyndon, IL. Survivors include her husband, Bob; two daughters, Beth Zuidema and Angie (Jamie) Schroeder both of Morrison, IL; three sons, Larry (Mary K.) Crocker of Godfrey, IL; Don (Tammy) Crocker of Prophetstown, IL; and Joe (Valerie) Crocker of Livingston, TX; ten grandchildren, Josh Zuidema, Nick (Keirra) Crocker, Brad (Natalie) Crocker, Whitney Block, Landon Crocker, Chase Crocker, Moe Crocker, Cadi Torres, Ethan Schroeder, Kaleb Schroeder; four great-grandchildren, Kenley Sue Crocker, Treyton Hasler, Brandon Torres, Sofia Hernandez; one sister, Mrs. Grace Bowen of Lyndon, IL; one brother, Jim (Shirley) Eads of Prophetstown, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Thelma Diehl and Esther Rhodes; three brothers, Fred, Richard, and Alfred Eads.
