Obituary for Brenda K. Stuart
BRENDA K. STUART, 58, of Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with Mr. Ken Renkes officiating. A visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 23rd, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lusk Memorial Cemetery in Albany, IL. A memorial has been established by the family.
Brenda was born March 19, 1963, in Morrison, IL, to Donald and Ruby (Forster) Stuart. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School. She went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Western IL University. Brenda was assistant treasurer and city clerk for the Village of Albany. She also worked at the Cordova Drag Strip for 17 years and Express Tax Place. She was an avid couponer and enjoyed the thrill of finding rebates. Brenda enjoyed wine tasting and crafting and loved to decorate for the holidays.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Griser of Clinton, IA; one son, Rian Pyron of Clinton, IA; a very special friend, Bill Conner, of Albany, IL; her mother, Ruby Thornton on Fulton, IL; one sister, Theresa (Dave) Wilhelm of Clinton, IA; four brothers, Dwayne (Katie) Stuart, Lee (Deanna) Stuart, Keith Stuart and Glenn (Dawn) Stuart, all of Fulton, IL; three best-friends since childhood, Kim Straight of Morrison, IL, Kris David of Fulton, IL and Sandy Henry of Camanche, IA; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Stuart; three nieces, Samantha, Courtney, and Isabella.
