Obituary for Carlene J. Planthaber - Chapman
CARLENE J. PLANTHABER-CHAPMAN, 70, of Four Seasons Living Center, Morrison, IL, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at the Living Center. Carlene was born September 22, 1942, in Morrison, IL, to Carl J. and Mary E. (Reynolds) Planthaber, Sr. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County Grade Schools and was a graduate of Morrison High School. She married Frank Chapman. Carlene was employed by General Electric Company in Morrison, IL. Survivors include two sons, Scott Chapman of Davenport, IA and Frankie Chapman of Moline, IL; two grandchildren, Matthew and Kelly Chapman; two sisters, Barb (Don) Skibbe of Morrison, IL and Sue (Cal) Wing of Morrison, IL; one brother, Carl J. (Wanda) Planthaber, Jr. of Camanche, IA; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Jane Everly.
