Obituary for Daniel Wyatt Peterson
DANIEL WYATT PETERSON, 50, of Clinton, IA, formerly of Prophetstown, IL, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at his home in Clinton. Daniel was born July 3, 1965, to Douglas Wyatt and Lois (Oltman) Peterson in Morrison, IL. He was educated in the Prophetstown grade schools and attended Prophetstown High School. He married Lori Ann Eads in Lyndon, IL. He later married Jennifer Rae Bryan in 1997. Daniel was artistic and loved to draw. He also was an avid Chicago Bears Fan. He enjoyed sports and bicycling, and he loved music. Survivors include four daughters, Janessa Peterson of Dixon, IL, Shandi Peterson of Geneseo, IL, Madison Peterson and Danielle Peterson, both of Tampico, IL; one son, Austin (Crystal Slocum) Peterson of Geneseo, IL; six grandchildren, Gaige Gehrking, Kennady Gehrking, Kingston Gehrking, Brayden Gehrking, Jonas and Maleia Peterson; his mother, Lois Schroeder of Prophetstown, IL; one sister, Sarah Wade of Prophetstown, IL, one brother, Paul (Angie) Peterson of Lyndon, IL; one niece, Cassidy Wade of Prophetstown, IL; one nephew, Donovan Peterson of Prophetstown, IL. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
