Obituary for Dorothy M. Bielema
DOROTHY M. BIELEMA, 88, of Resthave Nursing and Retirement Home, Morrison, IL, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Sunday, December 1, 2013, at the Home. Dorothy was born April 4, 1925, in Fulton, IL, to William and Agnes (Reidenga) Bielema. She was educated in the Otter Bluff Grade School of rural Whiteside County, IL. Dorothy was employed by the Burpee Seed Company in Clinton, IA for 32 years. She was a member of the Spring Valley Reformed Church in Fulton, the church"s Ladies Aid Society, and served as a Greeter and Sunday School teacher. Dorothy enjoyed needlework and the beauty of flowers. Survivors include one brother, Donald (Beverly) Bielema of Orion, IL; five nieces and nephews, Sandra (Jon) Challeen, James (Linda) Dykstra, Judy (Ron) Hans, Rick (Linda) Dykstra, and Thad Bielema; nine great nieces and nephews; two step great nieces and nephews; twelve great great nieces and nephews; four step great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Evelyn J. Dykstra.
