ELSA VELOZ BANAAG, 64, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at her home.Elsa was born July 20, 1950, in Catarman, Camiguin, Philippines, to Bartolome and Marcellana (Ladao) Veloz. She was married to Isabelo F. Banaag on February 22, 1975, in Camiguin, Philippines. He died January 2, 2004. Elsa was employed by Heritage Square in Dixon, IL, and Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison, IL. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. A memorial has been established by the family.Survivors include her fianc", Paul Walters of Morrison, IL; her mother, Marcellana Veloz of Philippines; three daughters, Ma. Terisadora (David) Cox of Indianapolis, IN; Maribel (Eric) Lorenzen of Dixon, IL; and Nina Liza B. (David) Lorenzen of Loves Park, IL; one son, Roel (Marigen) Banaag of Philippines; eight grandchildren; two sisters; six brothers; and a special niece, Razel Germain of Janesville, WI.She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Isabelo; and one grandson.
