Obituary for Etta Ringenoldus
ETTA HOLESINGER " RINGENOLDUS, 90, of Harbor Crest Home, Fulton, IL, formerly of Clinton, IA, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the nursing home. Etta was born January 31, 1926, in Garden Plain Township, IL, to Garret and Grace (Decker) Stuit. She was educated in the Fulton, IL, grade schools and was a 1944 graduate of Fulton High School. Etta married Gerald Holesinger on October 4, 1960, in Fulton, IL. He died January 18, 1977. She then married Rev. Harold C. Ringenoldus on December 29, 1979, in Clinton, IA. He died March 30, 1997. Etta worked at Dr. John E. Ringdahl"s dental practice for many years. She was a member of Community Reformed Church in Clinton, where she was active in the Church Women United and was a member of the Joy Circle. She enjoyed spending time with family. Survivors include one step daughter, Ruth Baker of Little Suamico, WI; four step grandchildren; one niece, Phyllis Knight of Fulton, IL; one nephew, John Engelkens of Pecatonica, IL; many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both husbands; two sisters, Joan Engelkens and Adeline Damhoff; one brother, John M. Stuit; two step daughters, Carolyn Condren and Bonnie Woehl
