Obituary for Francis V. Dugosh
FRANCIS V. DUGOSH, 82, of Lyndon, IL, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Iowa City, IA.
Cremation rites were accorded; there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Francis was born July 9, 1935, in Peru, IL to Edward and Johanna (Stachowiak) Dugosh. He was educated in the Catholic Schools in LaSalle, IL. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. On November 1, 1983 he married Elizabeth Dedich in Morrison, IL. He was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in LaSalle. Francis enjoyed golfing, fishing and watching baseball and football. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; four daughters, Dolores Kabasa of Milwaukee, WI; Marilyn Davis of Geneseo, IL; Donna (Pierce) Moore of Prophetstown, IL; and Norma (Tim) Dietrich of Prophetstown, IL; two step-sons, Bill (Rhonda) Green of LeClaire, IA and Mike (Peg) Talbot of Branson, MO; many grandchildren; many-many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Robert Dugosh; two brothers, Eugene and Leo Dugosh; one step-daughter, Cindy Wright.
