Obituary for Gary S. Spencer
GARY S. SPENCER, 51, of Lyndon, IL, died Friday, March 25, 2016, in Lyndon. Gary was born May 27, 1964, in Morrison, IL, to Ernest "Red" and Olive J. (Jones) Spencer, Jr. He was educated in the Prophetstown Grade School and attended Prophetstown High School in Prophetstown, IL. He was employed by C & D Machining in Lyndon, IL. Gary enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, yardwork, and spending time with family and friends. He was a St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers fan. Survivors include one sister, Shari Kaufman of Morrison, IL; two brothers, Barry (Jodi) Spencer of Sterling, IL, and Shawn (April) Spencer of Dixon, IL; one sister-in-law, Dallas Spencer of Lyndon, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Brandy Spencer.
