Obituary for Jane A. Nelson
JANE A. NELSON, 71, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at her home.
The funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, July 9, 2018, at the Morrison United Methodist Church with Rev. Polly Klimson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. A memorial has been established to Morrison United Methodist Church.
Jane was born October 10, 1946, in Morrison, IL, to Charles F. and Nellie I. (Neary) Stichter. She married Robert E. Nelson on November 29, 1963, in Morrison. Janie was employed by General Electric in Morrison and was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting, antiquing, and sewing.
Survivors include her husband, Bob; one daughter, Shelli (Mike) Davis of Morrison, IL; six grandchildren, Nathan Verdick, Dana Verdick; Kelsey (fiance’ Marcus Rumfelt) Sibley, Kyla Sibley, and Clay (Alyssa) Sibley; and Emily Davis; and one great-grandson, Carson Verdick; one sister, Iona Harvey of Morrison; and one brother, Robert (Shirley) Stichter of Fenton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Kimberly Verdick.
