Obituary for Jean E. Harris
JEAN E. HARRIS, 67, of Chadwick, IL, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. Jean was born April 9, 1947, in Morrison, IL, to Lyle F. and Roelvina E.(Hook) Paschal. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools and was a 1965 graduate of Morrison High School. She married Gary D. "Gib" Harris on June 21, 1968 in Morrison. Jean was first employed by General Electric in Morrison, IL. Later she worked for Climco in Morrison, Atwood Manufacturing in Mt. Carroll, IL, and most recently, at PNC Inc. in Polo, IL, for 18 years. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison. Jean enjoyed reading and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Gib; three sons, Brian Harris of Chadwick, Bradley Harris of Mt. Carroll, and Eric Harris of Chadwick; four grandchildren, Kullin Harris, Kieren Harris, Becca Harris and Joslynn Harris; two sisters, Marsha Kaufman of Morrison and Sara Lee of Freeport, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers-in-law, Joe Kaufman and James Lee.
