Obituary for Jerold G. Brinkmeier
JEROLD G. BRINKMEIER, 90, of Morrison, IL, died Sunday, August 26, 2018.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with Rev. Dick Adams, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Morrison, officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29th at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral service. A memorial has been established.

Jerold was born February 5, 1928 in Loran, IL, to Arthur C. and Lydia C. (Beyer) Brinkmeier. He was educated in the rural grade schools of Loran, IL. Jerold first married Thelma Colbert. On October 2, 1965 he married Judith M. Kreider in Shannon, IL. As a young adult Jerold worked as a hired farm hand and then he was employed as a milk hauler for 35 years. He started out hauling milk cans and later hauled milk in a bulk tank truck. Most recently he worked as an attendant at Superwash in Morrison, from 1987 until the present. He formerly attended the Berean Baptist Church in Rock Falls, IL and currently attended the First Baptist Church in Morrison. Jerold enjoyed yard work and gardening, woodworking and reading.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; three daughters, Linda Witmer of Mt. Carroll, IL, Carole (Rich) Michael of Freeport, IL and Connie Tyler of Morrison, IL; one son, Karl (Deb) Brinkmeier of Morrison, IL; one step daughter, Linda Sue (Steve) Limond of Rock Falls, IL; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five sisters, Elaine Bicker of Lanark, IL, Betty Kohn of McConnell, IL, Doris Ditsworth and Arlene Camerer, both of Freeport, IL, Lavonne Liphart of South Wayne, WI; two brothers, Keith Brinkmeier of Sycamore, IL and Dennis Brinkmeier of Lena, IL.

He was preceded in death by one step son, Richard Weaks; three sisters, Maxine Brinkmeier in infancy, Merna Kampmier and Evelyn Buss; four brothers, Carl, Leon, Verlin and Mervin Brinkmeier.
