Obituary for John R. Brady
JOHN R. BRADY, 66, of Sterling, IL, died Monday, September 16, 2013 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. John was born February 1, 1947, in Kewanee, IL, to John E. "Jack" and Esther (Stabler) Brady. He attended Prophetstown, IL grade schools and graduated from Prophetstown High School. He then attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. John retired from Commonwealth Edison Nuclear Plant in Cordova, IL in 1999. Survivors include one son, John M. (fianc" Jamie Shierry) Brady of Sterling, IL; one granddaughter, Brylee Brady; one sister, Janet (Buddy) Wagner of Georgetown, KY; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James W. Brady.
