Obituary for Judith Colleen Temple
JUDITH COLLEEN TEMPLE, 72, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport, IA.
Cremation rites have been accorded, there will be no funeral service. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Private interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison. A memorial has been established to the Merton Chapter 356 Order of the Eastern Star, Fulton, IL.
Judy was born March 4, 1950 in Fairfield, IA to John and Rosetta (Ranard) Martin. She attended United Township High School in East Moline, IL. Later in life Judy married the love of her life, Robert J. Temple, on October 26, 1996 in Albany, IL. She was a homemaker, mom, grandma and great grandma. Judy was a member of the Martin Chapter 356 Order of the Eastern Star, and she enjoyed gardening, fishing, shopping and going out to eat. She never turned down cake or cookies. Above all, Judy enjoyed spending quality time with her family and spoiling her girls.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; two daughters, Dorrie (Scott) Manon of Erie, IL; Sherry (Dwayne Folker) Price of Albany, IL; five grandchildren, Tyler (Shauna) Manon, Joseph (Ashlei) Price, Katie (Chris) Edwards, Taylor (Sydney) Manon, Austin (Kelsey) Manon; twelve great grandchildren, Ariana Nielsen, Brayson and Talan Manon, Kayden and Keegan Price (and baby Keelie due in July), Hailey and Caleb Edwards (and baby boy and girl twins due in October), Piper Manon, Rosie Manon; one sister, Phyllis Lerch of Marion, IA; one brother, Johnny (Faye) Martin of Trivoli, IL; best friend, Vickey (Kevin) McGinty of Thomson, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law, George and Helen Temple; one great grandson, Liam Manon in infancy; three sisters, Ruby Miller, Betty Biggs, Karlene Walters; one brother, Kenneth Martin.
