JULE KAY JOHNSON, 76, of Sterling, IL, died, Friday April 9, 2021 at her home.
A private family graveside service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Sterling, IL. Rev. Father Bruce Ludeke, pastor at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling, IL, will officiate. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established.
Jule was born December 21, 1944 in Sterling, IL, to Claude F. and Marian L. (Graff) Schumacher. She attended Sterling Newman Schools. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Sauk Valley in 1986. She married John S. Johnson on January 5, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV. Jule was employed at the Dixon Prison for 20 years as a nurse. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling, IL.
Survivors include her husband, John; one daughter, Debra; two sons, Mike (Betty) Reed of Rock Falls, IL and Steven (Stacey) Reed of Morrison, IL; four grandchildren; one brother, Tom (Julie) Schumacher of Morrison, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
