Obituary for Karter Jacob Blackert
Infant, Karter Jacob Blackert, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, IL. A private family graveside service will be held at Hooppole Cemetery.
Karter was born to Andrew & Olivia (Cecchetti) Blackert of Walnut, IL. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Mark and Julie Cecchetti of Dixon IL; paternal grandmother, Debra Blackert of Tampico, IL; aunts and uncles, Joe (Kami) Cecchetti of Bloomington, IL, Andrea (Scott) Etheridge of Princeton, IL, and Aaron (Nikki) Blackert of Harmon, IL; cousins, Declan and Vera, Carson, Casey and Collyns Etheridge, Matthew, Jonathan and Samantha Blackert.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dean A. Blackert.
