Obituary for Kathy Huizenga
KATHRYN “KATHY” ANN HUIZENGA, age 61, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at her home in Fulton, IL. Kathy was born in Clinton, IA, on February 2, 1961, to Leonard and LaVonne (Lane) Musk.
Kathy was educated in the Fulton School District and graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She worked at CHTV and at the Clinton Herald in Clinton, IA. On June 4, 1983, she married Jack Huizenga of Fulton, IL. They lived in Fulton where they raised two children. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clinton, IA.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Jack; her son, James Huizenga of Dekalb, IL; her daughter, Kari Huizenga of Davenport, IA; her brother, David Musk of Omaha, NE.
A private family visitation and graveside service will be held. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made in her honor.
