Obituary for Leo R. Casey Jr.
LEO R. CASEY JR., 84, of Fulton, IL, died Monday, October 23, 2017, at his home.Leo was born February 13, 1933, in Stanwood, IA, to Leo R. and Grace (Heun) Casey Sr. He was educated in the Fulton grade schools and a graduate of Fulton High School. Leo married Eleanor K. Reuter on October 14, 2003, in North Carolina. Casey retired from the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad after 42 years of employment. He loved his hot rod Mustangs, country western music, and was an antique John Deere enthusiast. He was an avid New York Yankees, Golden State Warriors, and Fighting Illini fan.Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; three sisters, Patricia (Richard) Young of Cape Coral, FL; Miriam (Ray) Babak of Fulton, IL; and Mrs. Rebecca Ehren of Winston Salem, NC.He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family funeral service will held at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Wiersema, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids, IA, officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton, IL.
