Obituary for Leslie R. Wagenecht
LESLIE R. WAGENECHT, 52, of Morrison, IL, died Friday, December 28, 2012, at her home. Leslie was born April 25, 1960, in Morrison, IL, to Marcia K. Shierry. She was educated in the Rock Falls Grade Schools and Morrison High School. She was a graduate of Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. Leslie married Allen L. Wagenecht on April 1, 1978, in Morrison, IL. She was employed as Director of Medical Records for the Morrison Community Hospital in Morrison, IL. Leslie was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Morrison and served as Sunday School teacher and superintendent. She was also an active volunteer for Harvest Hammer. Survivors include her husband, Allen; three daughters, Andrea (Chad) Wolever of Albany, IL; Jennifer (Craig) Dornbush of Erie, IL; and Aimee Wagenecht of Morrison, IL; four grandchildren, Ava Wolever; Makayla, Madisyn, and Conner Dornbush; two sisters, Cheryl (Michael) Bratcher of Keller, TX and Jackie Collins of Fulton, IL; one aunt, Valerie Shierry of Morrison, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Mark Hurd.
