His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Fenton United Methodist Church, in Fenton, IL, with pastor Rev. Peter Kicheon Ahn officiating. A visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 25th at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral service. A memorial has been established.
Lewis was born June 14, 1951, in Louisiana, MO, to Denver D. and Lillie Mae (Smith) Webb. He was educated in the Fulton, IL grade and high schools. On April 2, 1970 he married Sharon F. Schaver in Morrison. Lewis was employed by Frantz Manufacturing in Sterling, IL. After retiring from Frantz, he was a car porter for Kunes Country Auto Group in Morrison. He was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church. Lewis was an outdoor and gun enthusiast, loving to target and trap shoot, snow ski, hike and explore the great outdoors. He enjoyed riding on roller coasters, and was a NASCAR fan. His greatest joy was traveling with his wife Sharon.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; one daughter, Melanie Webb of Fulton, IL; one son, Greg Webb of Milan, IL; four grandchildren, Josie Smith, Lucas Smith, Noah Webb, and Zoey Webb; one great grandson, Lemmi Clapper; one sister-in-law, Alberta Pauline Webb of Morrison, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David and Wayne Webb.
