Obituary for Linda J. Schipper
LINDA J. SCHIPPER, 79, of Fulton, IL, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Eagle Point Health Care Center in Clinton, IA.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with Mr. Ken Renkes officiating. A visitation will be held starting at 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be at Lusk Memorial Cemetery in Albany, IL. A memorial has been established.
Linda was born December 6, 1944, in Morrison, IL, to Harvey and Clara (Rus) Miensma. She was educated in the Fenton grade schools and was a graduate of Morrison High School. She married Richard H. Schipper on April 9, 1965, in Morrison, IL. Her professional journey led her through various paths, including employment at Agri King in Fulton, the Iowa Realtor Association, and JT Cullen in Fulton. Linda liked to go camping and she found immense joy in spending quality time with her loved ones, with a particular emphasis on attending her grandchildren's sporting events and activities alongside her husband, Dick.
Survivors include her husband, Dick; two sons, Scott (Leota) Schipper of Fulton, IL and Brian (Melissa) Schipper of Erie, IL; seven grandchildren, Kylee Schipper, Kaleb Schipper, Kole Schipper, Klayton Schipper and Kody Schipper, Brett (Tobi) Schipper and Collin Schipper; two sisters, Judy (Larry) Tiesman of Albany, IL and Tami Hornick of TN; one brother, Dennis Miensma of Albany, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Tony Miensma.
