Obituary for Lynne Zahnle
LYNNE ZAHNLE, 85, of Fulton, IL, died Monday, June 3, 2024, at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, HI.
Her funeral will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 29,2024, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Renkes officiating. Visitation will take place beginning at 5:00 PM and continuing until the start of the funeral. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.
She was born August 21, 1938, in Clinton, IA, to John and Marcella (Zehring) Poole. On October 26, 1957, she married James L. Zahnle in Fulton, IL, and they shared their lives for almost 39 years until his passing on September 9, 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Jill (Rich) Swanson of Sierra Vista, AZ; two sons, Scott (Kim) Zahnle of Ames, IA and Jeff (Nicole) Zahnle of Hayfield, MN; six grandchildren, Andrew (Tristan) Zahnle, Brian (Allison) Zahnle, Adam Cooprider, Bhrett (Chris) Schwartz, Brooke Zahnle and Jason Zahnle; four great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Michelle Zahnle of Buffalo Grove, IL; one sister, Ann Harvey of Oakridge, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; one son, Phil Zahnle.
