Obituary for Malcolm J. Desvignes Sr.
MALCOLM JEROME DESVIGNES, SR., 44, of Clinton, IA, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. Malcolm was born September 7, 1970, in Hempstead, NY, to Kenneth and Molly Ann (Curry) Desvignes. He was educated in the Abilene, TX schools. On December 28, 1998, he married Larissa Carr in Ithaca, MI. Malcolm was employed at Drives, Inc. in Fulton, MetalTech, in Clinton, Brazeway and Plasti-Paint in DeWitt, IA. Currently he was employed at Data Dimensions in Clinton. Malcolm enjoyed golfing and shooting pool. He also enjoyed having friends and family over for barbeques. Survivors include his wife, Larissa of Clinton; one daughter, Tia Renee Desvignes of Clinton; one son, Malcolm Jerome Desvignes Jr., of Clinton; his father Ken, and step-mother, Stephanie Desvignes of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Malinda Curry of FL and Pamela Curry of NY; one brother, Corey Cross of SC; his special friend, Nikki Meurs and her children, Amaya and John Carter, of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Molly Ann Desvignes; his maternal and paternal grandparents.
