Obituary for Margaret R. Dykstra
MARGARET R. DYKSTRA, 89, of Harbor Crest Home in Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Harbor Crest Home.Margaret was born January 29, 1928, in Garden Plain, IL, to Henry and Bertha (Bonneur) Holesinger. She was educated in the Lockhart Grade Schools in rural Garden Plain and was a graduate of Erie High School in Erie, IL. Margaret married Sidney Dykstra on August 24, 1944, in Fulton, IL. She was a member of theBethel Christian Reformed Church in Fulton. Margaret was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling.Survivors include her husband, Sid; one son, Jim (Kathy) Dykstra of Grand Rapids, MI; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and David Dykstra; one sister, Evelyn M. Sharer; and two brothers, Bob and Floyd Holesinger.
Per Margaret’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is assisting the family.
