MARJORIE A. TEMPLE-LEFFLER, 90, of Clinton, IA, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at The Alverno in Clinton.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A private burial will be held at a later date at Fulton Township Cemetery.
Marge was born January 4, 1934, in Fulton, IL, to Jacob H. and Gertrude (Decker) Temple. She was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and attended Fulton High School. On January 18, 2003, she married Ronald E. Leffler, Sr., in Fulton, IL. He died November 18, 2017. Marge was employed by General Electric in Morrison, IL, for 38 years, retiring in 1991. She attended First Baptist Church in Clinton. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include two brothers, Jacob J. (Nancy) Temple of Fulton, IL and Delbert (Colleen) Temple of Clinton, IA; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lorena Temple in infancy, Alvina Garmon and Evelyn Decker; one brother Gerald Temple; former husband, Eugene Schipper.
