Obituary for Marjorie J. McDonald
MARJORIE J. MCDONALD, 82, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Mercy Living Center South, Clinton, IA. Marjorie was born February 3, 1930 in Morrison, IL to Carl and Effie (Dykema) Kuehl. She was educated in the Morrison, IL grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School in 1948. She married Lyle E. McDonald in September 1949 in Morrison, IL. Marjorie worked for Smith Trust and Savings Bank and for Wilkinson Title Abstract Company both in Morrison, IL. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed all types of needle craft. Survivors include her husband, Lyle; two sons, Michael (Connie) McDonald of Columbus, OH and Barry McDonald of Park View, IA; two grandchildren, Benjamin (Allison) McDonald and Colin McDonald; two sisters, Ruth Reed and Beth (Lester) Renkes both of Morrison, IL; and one brother, Orville Kuehl of Sterling, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harvey Kuehl.
