Mary Lea Anglese, 77, of Prophetstown, IL formerly of Hammett House in Sterling, IL, died Friday, November 22, 2024, at Allure of Prophetstown in Prophetstown, IL.
A funeral service will be held at 1PM Tuesday, November 26,2024 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma Renkes Funeral Home with Rev. Tiffany Garcea, current Pastor of Erie United Methodist Church, officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. A memorial to Allure of Prophetstown has been established by the family.
Mary Lea was born August 21, 1947, in Morrison, IL, to William P. and Leola Mae (Rummel) Anglese. She attended Newton School in rural Erie, IL. Mary Lea was employed by Self Help Enterprise in Sterling, IL, as an assembly worker for many years. Mary was an Avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include one sister, Susan (Steve) Van Oosten of Fulton, IL; one brother, Charles (Brenda) Anglese of Erie, IL; one sister–in-law, Nancy Anglese of Albany, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Paul, Larry and Rick Anglese.
