Obituary for Pamela S. Swanson
PAMELA S. SWANSON, 61, of Clinton, IA, died Monday, September 28, 2020, at MercyOne Clinton in Clinton, IA.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2020, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. There will be no memorial service. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial has been established to Clinton Humane Society.
Pam was born November 16, 1958, in Morrison, IL, to LeRoy F. and Mary Ann (Heusinkveld) Gossard. She was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a 1976 graduate of Fulton High School in Fulton, IL. She married Charles Swanson in May of 1977 in Fulton and they were married until 1990. Pam was employed by All Pets Mobile Clinic in Clinton for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid animal lover, especially dogs. Pam was very crafty, enjoying crocheting and cross stitching.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Ann Gossard of Fulton; one daughter, Jill Underwood of Albany, IL; one son, Curt (Theresa) Swanson of Germantown, TN; two grandchildren, Mariah and Kendra Underwood; two sisters, LeAnn (Chuck) Smith of Fulton; Ellyn (Mark) Stuhlman of Camanche, IA; one brother, Ron (Sarah) Gossard of Clinton; her fiancé, Bob Sterbenz of Clinton; many nieces and nephews; two special dogs, Arthur and Walker.
She was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy Gossard and her loving dog, Levi.
