Obituary for Paul E. VanKampen
PAUL E. VANKAMPEN, 77, of Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at his home in Fulton. Paul was born on October 4, 1938, in Whiteside County, IL, to Jacob and Jennie (Bielema) VanKampen. He was educated in the East Clinton, IL School. Paul served in the U.S. Army from 1955 "1958. On February 27, 1959 he married Judith A. Sirvid in Camanche, IA. Paul was employed by the Chicago and North Western and Union Pacific Railroads for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Survivors include his wife Judy; three daughters, Debbie (Scott Rodda) Wiersema of Savanna, IL, Diane (Stanley) Zuidema of Fulton, IL, and Doreen VanKampen of Clinton, IA; six grandchildren, Chad Krontz, Ashley (Steven) Leu, Brittney (Rick) Campbell, Haley (Justin Jenkins) Zuidema, Tyler (Darlene Jobin) Zuidema, Bridget Shepard; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Marlene (Robert) Buck of Fulton, IL and Joyce (Vernon) Jensen of Clinton, IA; two brothers, Allen VanKampen and Richard (Linda) VanKampen, both of Fulton, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lois Jorgensen and Linda VanDamme; two brothers, Donald and Warren VanKampen.
