Obituary for Payton J. Cook
PAYTON J. COOK, 17, of Morrison, IL, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 as a result of an automobile accident. Payton was born June 4, 1998, in Iowa City, IA, to Timothy J. Cook and Kaitlin S. "Carri" Van Roekel. He was educated in the Cedar Rapids, IA grade and high schools and was currently attending Morrison High School in Morrison, IL. Payton loved football, basketball, lifting, fishing, hanging with his friends, family, dogs, video games, being the class clown and making everyone around him feel special just for being themselves. Survivors include his mother, Kaitlin "Carri" Van Roekel of Bettendorf, IA; his father, Timothy J. Cook of Mechanicsville, IA; grandparents, Paula McKee of Morrison, IL; Klarene Cook of Mechanicsville, IA; Spencer (Joyce) Van Roekel of Siloam Springs, AR; many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
