PEGGY A. SANDELL, 50, of 13964 Round Grove Road, Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, IL. Peggy was born July 1, 1961, in Sterling, IL, to Roy E. and Betty L. (Cox) Bell. She was educated in the Rock Falls Grade School and attended Rock Falls High School. She married Scott M. Sandell on July 21, 2006 in Morrison, IL. Peggy was employed as a health care professional in various local institutions. Most recently, she was employed by the State of Illinois, Department of Rehabiliation Services, as a personal health care aide for Dohrs. She was a member of Church of the Open Door in Clinton, IA. Peggy enjoyed fishing, hiking, and walking at Morrison Rockwood State Park. Surviors include her husband, Scott; one son, Brent Bell of Lubbock, TX; her father, Roy Bell, Sr. of Lafayette, LA; two step daughters, Desa and Amanda Sandell both of Imperial, PA; one step son, Nathan Sandell of Morrison, IL; two sisters, Wynona (Arthur) Wirth of Lakeland, FL and Linda (Hubert) McGahee of Long Grove, OK; four brothers, Roy (Betty) Bell, Jr. of La Place, LA, Charles (Rose) Bell of Sterling, IL, Brian Bell of Sterling, IL, and Larry Bell of Houston, TX; two half sisters, Dawn (Steve) Bellows of Rock Falls, IL and Mary (Jerry) Yepson of Princeton, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Bell.
