Obituary for Raymond F. Hruby
RAYMOND F. HRUBY, 81, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, IL. Ray was born August 23, 1928 in Chicago, IL, to Raymond and Daisy (Dewey) Hruby. He attended Morton East High School in Berwyn, IL. He served in the U.S. Army. In 1971, Ray started Ray"s Grease Service, Inc. in Glen Ellyn, IL. He later owned and operated Morrison Grease Recycling, Inc. in Morrison, IL. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Sterling, IL. He was a member of the Rock Falls McDonald"s Coffee Club and enjoyed spending time at the Whiteside County Senior Center in Sterling. Most of all, Ray enjoyed the time that he spent with his family. Survivors include five daughters, Donna Waters of Cresthill, IL; Linda (Hugh) McLaughlin of Glendale, AZ; Teresa (Tim) Kolb of Reedsburg, WI; Sandra (Stan) Emmert of Morrison, IL; and Tina (Scott) Kubes of Bolingbrook, IL; one son, Jim (Chris) Hruby of Warrenville, IL; eleven grandchildren, Bennett McLaughlin, Shannon McLaughlin, Steve Kolb, Daniel Kolb, Candace (Jimmy) Ullrich, Brooke Emmert, Dylan, Sara, Emily Kubes, Lauren (Justin) Van Wagoner, and Cara Hruby; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Delores Ahschlager.
