Obituary for Regina E. Keith
REGINA E. KEITH, 100, of Windsor Manor in Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Windsor Manor.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Father Slawomir Zimodro of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison. A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. A memorial has been established to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Regina was born January 20, 1921, in Morrison, IL, to Louis and Eva K. (Gaffey) Rick. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County schools. On December 19, 1942 she married Edward R. Keith in St. Louis, MO. He died September 29, 2004. Regina worked at Climco Coils in Morrison and also at the Howard Hughes Aircraft Company. Lastly she worked for 14 ½ years as a shipping clerk for General Electric in Morrison, until retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and also the GEM Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Diane (Ben Olson) O’Brien of Janesville, WI; three sons, LaVerne (Sandi) Keith of McMinnville, TN; Gary (Margaret) Keith of Bella Vista, AR; and Robert (Carla) Keith of Streator, IL; six grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; ten step-great grandchildren; seven step-great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; one step daughter, Dora Mae Wunderlin; one step-granddaughter, Jolene Wunderlin; one sister, Eileen Kelly, three brothers, Everett, Harold and Lauren Rick; two sons-in-law, Richard O’Brien and Roger Wunderlin; two daughters-in-law, Rita Keith and Ardyce Keith; a grandson-in-law, Richard Wildermuth.
