Obituary for Robert F. Renner Jr.
ROBERT “BOB” F. RENNER JR., 50, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, May 19, 2022 at his home.
There will be a private family graveside service. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park Cemetery in Sterling, IL. A memorial has been established.
Bob was born July 11, 1971 in Clinton, IA to Robert and Joan (Fredricks) Renner Sr. He was educated in the Morrison grade schools and was a 1989 graduate of Morrison High School. Bob worked hard all of his life. He enjoyed making his house a home, cooking new recipes and spending time with his buddy, Jaxson.
Survivors include two sisters, Carman (Jim) Funderburgh of Thomson, IL and Cindy (Steve) Whiting of Thomson, IL; two nieces, Brandy (Chad) Stephenson and Stacey (Joe) Stephenson; two nephews, Steve (Samantha) Whiting Jr. and Brian (Victoria) Whiting; god-daughters, Jenna and Marissa Tichler of Morrison; many aunts and uncles, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal and paternal grandparents; one sister, Joy Fredricks; an uncle, Gerald Fredricks; one niece, Angela McGinty.
