Obituary for Robert L. Kuelper
ROBERT L. KUELPER, 73, of Prophetstown, IL, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Genesis Medical Center West in Davenport, IA. Robert was born July 17, 1936, in Albany, IL, to Leonard J. and Helen (Reffett) Kuelper. He was educated in the Brown School in rural Prophetstown, IL. He married Opal Jensen in 1956. He later married Anna J. Denney-Moon on August 10, 1974 at Annawan, IL. Robert worked various jobs before being employed by General Electric Co. in Morrison, IL. Most recently, he was employed by Superwash in Prophetstown, IL. He was affiliated with the First Christian Church in New Bedford, IL. Robert enjoyed working with his hands, gardening, woodworking and doing yard work. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Robert was an avid Superman fan.Survivors include his wife Ann; three daughters, Kim (Mike) Ingram of Lyndon, IL, Debra Kuelper of Morrison, IL, Brenda (Patrick) Weston of Kewanee, IL; four sons, Steve (Peggy) Kuelper of Prophetstown, IL, David (Melanie) Kuelper of Texas, Brian (Linda) Moon of Stone Mountain, GA, and John (Jessica) Kuelper of Rio, IL; fifteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Betty Hotchkiss; two brothers, Jim (Esther) Kuelper of Prophetstown, IL and Jack (Judy) Kuelper of Tampico, IL; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Cheryl Kuelper; three brothers, Leonard, Ronald and Lyle Kuelper.
