Obituary for Ruth Ann Tiesman
RUTH ANN TIESMAN, 75, of Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Elevate Care in Niles, IL.
A private family graveside will be held at the Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton, IL, with Ken Renkes officiating. A private family visitation will be held at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. A memorial to First Reformed Church in Fulton has been established.
Ruth was born December 24, 1944, in Fulton, IL, to Willard J. and Sadie (Dykstra) Deelsnyder. She was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a 1962 graduate of Fulton High School. Ruth married Mitchell L. Tiesman on March 2, 1963, in Stephenville, Newfoundland. He died June 27, 2014. Ruth was employed by the former Fidelity Life Association of Fulton for 10 years. She then was employed by Core-Vens Insurance Agency in Clinton, IA, for 35 years. Ruth was a member of First Reformed Church in Fulton. She enjoyed bowling in the Tuesday Night Women’s League. She also enjoyed riding her bike and walking with her son Todd and Blaze the Doberman Pincher.
Survivors include one son, Todd Tiesman of Fulton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Mitchell.
