Obituary for Sherry J. Bach
CHARLOTTE J. “SHERRY” BACH, 77, passed away October 23, 2020, in her home in Fulton, Illinois.
A visitation will be held at River Church, 2378 S. 14th St., Clinton, Iowa, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday October 30, 2020. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded. Online condolences can be sent to www.bosmarenkes.com.
Sherry, whose actual name was Charlotte, was born March 24, 1942, in Clinton, Iowa to Charles and Nellie (Bush) Coyne-Smith. She attended Fulton Schools her entire life.
Sherry spent most of her life raising her three daughters. She enjoyed selling Avon in her younger years and later she had a fulfilling career working for Prudential Insurance Company, where she was dedicated to helping her clientele and making many life-long friends. Sherry had a way with people and was an unforgettable woman. All those that knew Sherry knew her passion for shopping, enjoying life, and fancy things. She was a member of Second Reformed Church in Fulton.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard E. Bach; her three daughters, LaNel (Charles) Rumfelt, Queen Creek, Arizona, Melody (Bruce) Van Drew of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Charm Parker of Marion, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Coyne, her mother, Nellie (Bush) Coyne-Smith, and her sister, Emilie Ann Rumfelt, and her brother, Dwayne Charles Coyne, who passed away at birth.
