Obituary for Warren D. Beukema
WARREN DALE BEUKEMA, 78, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. Warren was born on December 30, 1934, in Morrison, IL, to John and Dora (Bos) Beukema. He was educated in the Morrison grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School. He served in the U.S. Army. On August 14, 1953, He married Wilma J. Peska in Fulton, IL. Warren was first employed at Herman-Nelson in Morrison. He then worked for Public Works in Fulton, IL and then at Clinton Corn in Clinton, IA. He was a member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church, and served on the board at Harbor Crest Nursing Home in Fulton. He was very active in the community volunteering for many different organizations. He enjoyed playing golf and walking his dog and best friend, "Jake". Warren enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his wife, Wilma; three brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
