Obituary for Lloyd Beal
LLOYD BEAL, 69, of Lyndon, IL, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at CGH Medical Center, in Sterling, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, IL. A memorial has been established by the family.

Lloyd was born July 20, 1951, in Manila, Arkansas to Leslie and Maddie (Mcfall) Beal. He attended Manila grade schools and Manila High School. Lloyd owned and operated Lloyd Beal Trucking Inc. in Lyndon. He also worked as a supervisor for ADM in Clinton, IA and did construction work. Lloyd served on the Lyndon Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Lloyd trained horses and love trail riding and the rodeo. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include one daughter, Sabrina (Curt) Sonnenberg of Prophetstown, IL; one son, Lloyd (Angela) Beal Jr. of Walworth, WI; ten grandchildren, Corrin (Skylar) Snodgrass, Leslie and Carl Sonnenberg, Rayne Isis, Emeril Thor, Lucien Ares, Legene Orion, Elli Maeve, Blaze Frederick Aloysius, and Dean Atlas Beal; one great-grandchild, Wayne Snodgrass; one sister, Patricia Rosenow of Lyndon; two brothers, James (Madeline) Beal of Cabot, AR and Don (Bonnie) Beal of Rector, AR; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Katheryn Murphree and Dorothy Beal in infancy; and one brother, Lester Beal.
