Obituary for Charles E. Hesser
CHARLES D. HESSER, 72, of Spring Hill, FL and Fulton, IL died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Florida Hospital at Connerton in Land O"Lakes, FL, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Charles was born September 11, 1939 in Carroll, IA to Archie Elwood and Irene Christine (Paysen) Hesser. He was educated in Somers, IA schools and graduated from Fulton High School in 1957. He married Brenda Kane on September 28, 1958 in Somers, IA. Charles was a member of Pipefitters Union Local #25 in Rock Island, IL. He was a member of the Fulton City Lodge #189 " AF & AM and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star " Merton Chapter #345 both in Fulton, IL. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Fulton Country Club. Charles loved to attend his grandson"s sporting events and also loved to fish. Survivors include his wife, Brenda; one daughter, Patty (Russ) Hoogheem of Fulton, IL; one son, Bob Hesser of Trinity, FL; two grandsons, Nick and Ryan Hoogheem; two brothers, Hank (Janice) Hesser of Modesto, CA and James (Barbara) Hesser of Camanche, IA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
