Obituary for Diane L. Tichler
DIANE L. TICHLER, 63, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, October 10, 2015, at her home. Diane was born June 18, 1952, in Morrison, IL, to Ellsworth F. and Mary Jane (Leseman) Stralow. She was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a 1970 graduate of Morrison High School. She attended Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. Diane married Larry J. Tichler on August 29, 1981, in Morrison, IL. She was employed by General Electric in Morrison for 34 years, retiring in 2008 and also worked for the Whiteside County Zoning office. Diane was a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison. She was also a member of GEM Club, was an avid bowler for Hilltop Lanes, and enjoyed baking and flower gardening. Survivors include her husband, Larry; one daughter, Ashley (Daniel) Deuth of Polo, IL; one stepson, Paul Tichler of Dixon, IL; and one brother, Duane (Arnette) Stralow of Rock Falls, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
