Obituary for Donald D. Barsema
DONALD D. BARSEMA, 68, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, October 27, 2012, at his home. Donald was born November 28, 1943, in Fulton, IL, to John and Genevieve (Ottens) Barsema. He was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools and attended Morrison High School in Morrison, IL. Donald was first employed by Austin Brothers Manufacturing in Morrison, IL. He then farmed in the rural Whiteside County area. He was a member of First Reformed Church in Fulton, and later was a member of Spring Valley Reformed Church in rural Fulton. Donald was a member of the Whiteside County Farm Bureau and had a love for horses. Survivors include two brothers, Ray (Carol) Barsema and Allon (Linda) Barsema both of Fulton, IL; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arlon D. Barsema and Kenneth Barsema.
