Obituary for Kristie Overbeck
KRISTIE OVERBECK, 43, of Champions Gate, FL, went to join her mother, Linda Overbeck, in heaven on Friday, July 24, 2020.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, IL, at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, August 1, 2020, with a memorial visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Ken Renkes will officiate. A memorial has been established by the family.The family requests that all those who are attending, please wear a mask and social distance.
Kristie was born October 29, 1976, in Sterling, IL, to Gerald H. and Linda L. (Helt) Overbeck. She attended Florida grade schools and high school. Kristie loved to read, craft jewelry, and was an avid photographer. She was a collector of eagle statues. Kristie, along with Paul, rebuilt computers and gaming systems together. She enjoyed visiting Disney World every month. Kristie was employed with Hard Rock Café and Hotel in Orlando, FL. She was the type of person that was always there to help whenever a friend was in need. Kristie will be sorely missed.
Survivors include her father, Gerald (Bridget) Overbeck of Prophetstown, IL; fiancé Paul Krueger of Champions Gate, FL; her blended family of siblings, Lisa McGee, Rodney McGee, Krysten (Anthony) Gerace, Katlynn Norris, and Mark Tate; her four nephews, Zachery McGee, Troy McGee, Kooper Norris, and Karson Norris; many more friends and relatives; and her beloved dog, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda.
